Rubygates Homeschooling

In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rubygates Preparatory School saw the need to create a means through which children could learn at home as though they were in school. Thus, the Homeschooling Department was birthed to provide in-depth, structured, easy to understand teaching materials that can be used by the parents or guardians to teach their wards. The added benefit is that, because Rubygates Preparatory School homeschooling is not internet dependent, it is not data heavy and does not expose children to possible misuse of the internet.

Rubygates homeschooling puts parents in the control seat of their children’s learning so they can monitor progress, indeed assess the school and positions their children to own their own learning.

Are you traveling and won’t be able to attend school? Are you or your child indisposed and can’t attend school? Give us a call and we will sort you out. We currently have classes from Nursery 1 through Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Finally, the last week of home schooling (at least for now). Teaching children at this young age is not an easy task. I have more respect for nursery and primary school teachers now than before. However, it has been a wonderful experience and I learnt one or two things, too. Thanks to the management and staff of RPS for their efforts in providing quality materials for the home schooling program within a very short notice.

If you have to put someone on a pedestal, just put teachers because they are the society's heroes and heroines. Kudos to the teachers all the way. And special shout-out to the management of RPS. I pray God almighty Allah elevate you. The homeschooling has been so wonderful for my ward and I guess it is the same for others. It's been such as amazing platform for the kids. 👍

Homeschooling has really helped me in getting close to my children more than I have ever been. Don't get me wrong, I have always helped them with their homework and given them attention but not like this.
I was also able to assess my children's learning. When I see them revising what they have learnt on their own, I'm filled with joy to do more. All thanks to God, Mrs. and Mr. Adedeji for making it easier for me. Despite the distance, (all the way outside Nigeria) you still make sure my kids are not left behind. May God bless you with everlasting joy.
