The Power of Hope and Tenacity

The Power of Hope and Tenacity

It does not matter how many times you have heard that faith works. If you do not practice it, you will never understand what it is. Many definitions of faith, no doubt, you have heard; but I will give you another one today. Faith is searching for what you need even though you have no resources to purchase or obtain it. The ‘normal’ thing to do is to wait until you have enough to make a complete purchase or enough to make a tangible show of interest. The irony however is that, if you wait that way, you may never get what you need. The ‘faithly’ thing to do however is to take what is called a step of faith, and go looking for what you need. What happens, but which we never think about while agonizing over insufficiency or lack, is that, when you see what you need, you immediately know exactly how much it requires. It births excitement in you, even if a cautious, tentative one; that excitement leads you to begin to talk about your find and therefore your goal, with people, particularly, family, and friends. Then you soon discover that help had been available all the while, but because your desire had not taken a definite shape by being focused on a tangible object vital to your goal, you could not create the future you so desperately desired. Will this work every time. I don’t know. But then again, that is faith. Do it, even though you do not see the whole picture, even though you cannot see beyond the ‘pointless’ action you’ve decided to take.  God is the one who makes help available. But because your inertia created zero energy, He could not cause your mind and mouth to gravitate you towards your breakthrough. This is a lesson that God has has taught us at RubyGates, and we’ve decided to share it with you. Thank you. You are family.
